Graves Is On The Fringe

Zap2it is reporting that director Alex Graves is on board for the new JJ Abrams series, Fringe.
Says Zap2it:
FOX won a bidding war for “Fringe” back in early October, giving a series commitment to the science fiction-inflected thriller and signing on for an ambitious pilot budget in the $10 million range, according to the industry trade papers.
The “X-Files”-esque pilot focuses on an odd trio of paranormal investigators — A brilliant, eccentric research scientist, his estranged son and a young, female FBI agent.
Graves is currently contracted to NBC’s Journeyman through December but its unlikely that even that commitment will need to be fulfilled. Journeyman’s creator Kevin Falls gave an interview where he stated that NBC was not giving the show the back nine so they would be filming a season finale for episode 12. Whether or not NBC actually airs that episode is completely up in the air at this point.
Sounds to me like the Journeyman is headed home for good.
