Trek Writer Talks and StarTrek.com Goes Dark
Roberto Orci, co-writer of the new Star Trek film had a short chat with Sci-Fi Wire about the film. You can read it here.
My buddy Anthony Pascale has the story on how Stargate Atlantis’ Paul McGillion came to join the cast.
But the biggest Trek news of the day is that CBS has laid off the entire staff of StarTrek.com leaving the fate of that site totally in the air. Sounds like another cost-cutting effort due in large part to the loss of revenue over the writers’ strike. Still, I think fans will find some way to keep the site going, they always do.
