Terminator Endoskeleton Shatters Auction’s Expectations

terminator-skeleton.jpgAs I previously reported, Profiles in History was set to auction off some amazing props from movies such as Terminator 2, Jurassic Park,  and TV shows such as Star Trek.

Well, the results are in and you won’t believe what people paid for these fabulous bits of movie memorabilia.  Take a look:

Full-scale model T-800 Endoskeleton from Terminator 2: Judgment Day : $488,750

Full-scale T-Rex head from Jurassic Park: $126,500 (twice as much as expected.)

T-1 battle-ready armored drone from Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines: $109,250

Full body, screen-used Terminator (T-800 model with costume) from Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines: $74,750

    I can’t BELIEVE how much people will pay for certain things. What is someone going to do with Neo’s coat? Put it on display? Wear it around town to pick up girls? It blows the mind.
