Moonlight Wins People’s Choice
It’s a great day for genre TV. CBS’s new vampire series Moonlight took the People’s Choice award for the Best New Drama beating out Private Practice and Gossip Girl.
Moonlight got off to a rocky start with critics panning the series, but one it found its footing the naysayers turned to yeah-sayers and the show began to get the recognition it deserved.
Check out this clip from the People’s Choice awards that has series star Alex O’Loughlin at a loss for words as he accepts the award then answers a couple of questions from the fans.

Wow, I’m excited. I saw the shows that Moonlight was up against, and I groaned, hoping it would win. Good for them!
