Jericho Has Nine Lives
Jericho, the post-apocalyptal TV series about life after the mushroom cloud, appears to have more lives than the proverbial cat. First fans save the series from an early demise and now SCI FI Channel has picked up the show for an off-network run.
It all begins with a four-episode marathon on SCI FI, Monday, February 11 starting at 7 pm. Then it’s back to CBS on Tuesday, February 12 where the show begins its second season at 10 pm. Finally, it’s back to SCI FI on February 18 at 10 pm, which will be the shows regular time slot.
“Jericho is a gripping science fiction series that SCI FI Channel is excited to add to our schedule,” said Thomas Vitale, Senior Vice President of Programming and Original Movies. “Thanks to the passion and persistence of its loyal viewers who saved this program from being canceled, new viewers can now experience this show for the first time on the SCI FI Channel while CBS continues the story in its second season run starting this February."
For those of you who were living in a bomb shelter all last year, Jericho is a drama about what happens when a nuclear mushroom cloud suddenly appears on the horizon, plunging the residents of a small, peaceful Kansas town into chaos, leaving them completely isolated and wondering if they’re the only Americans left alive. Cast members include: Skeet Ulrich (Scream), Gerald McRaney (Ike: Countdown to D-Day), Pamela Reed (Proof of Life), Lennie James (Sahara), Michael Gaston (Prison Break), Kenneth Mitchell (The Recruit), Sprague Grayden (Six Feet Under), Erik Knudsen (Saw II), Ashley Scott (Dark Angel), Brad Beyer (Third Watch) and Alicia Coppola (National Treasure: Book of Secrets).
The second season premiere is called "Reconstruction"
When the Cheyenne government puts an end to the battle between Jericho and New Bern, Major Beck (guest star Esai Morales) leads the reconstruction efforts to restore Jericho’s power and communication with the outside world.
We even have a few promo photos to wet your appetite for more Jericho!

I have watched the first three of this season after they were *ahem* leaked. Amazing. Season 2 is going to really please the fans – I like the issues it’s grappling with.
I also hear that 2 ends to Season 2 have been filmed on the possibility that a Season 3 is ordered. Now THAT would be great!
