Supernatural Shifts
The CW has announced a slightly shifted schedule for the four remaining episodes of Supernatural, including one double dose on the final night. The new schedule is thus:
2/7 - “Dream A Little Dream Of Me”
2/14 - “Mystery Spot”
2/21 - “Nightshifter” (a repeat from Season 2 airing at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT)
2/21 - “Jus In Bello” (an original airing at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT)
The double feature on 2/21 is a perfect match added to give you some much needed backstory (in case you haven’t been watching the whole time - for shame for shame) before the final episode.
IF the writers’ strike does not end in the next few weeks, this will be the full third season of Supernatural. If the strike ends, we could get a couple more episodes but at this point I can’t see them trying to race to wrap up Dean’s story arc. I’d bet we’re looking a seeing that in Season Four.

Good choice to rerun Nightshifter before Jus in Bello - they do tie in together ;-)
I am very glad the CW is giving us this second season repeat! I think it’s cool to have Smallville’s timeslot just this once. It will be interesting to see the ratings for it, even if it is a rerun.
Also, I am sincerely hoping the strike ends - I want more episodes to season 3!! I feel cheated out of half a season and damn, it feels bad. I just hope that we are given a fourth season and things look pretty good for that.

At this point, I’m not sure if I want the strike to end on time or not. This season has been far from stellar. The brotherly moments are passe, the music is gone, the female add-ons feel just like what they are, add ons. So, maybe the strike will allow Kripke time to come up with better scripts, less females, more brother moments and hey! Maybe a storyline for Dean and adding Dean to the mytharc. How about that! Now there’s a new concept I haven’t seen in the last 3 seasons of Supernatural. But hey, yeah, I do like to dream.

hi there wishful thinker!
i agree with you about the sub-standard feel of the season. the brotherly moments seem half-baked, and thrown in to fulfill the quota of emo moments that each episode is “supposed” to have. they mean little (with some exceptions, of course) and make the boys look bitchy.
however, i do have to say that the writers have amped the action in season 3. it is, by far, the bloodiest season yet…and that is as it shoud be, to indicate the severity of the war the winchesters are facing.
still, i would trade that in gladly for a more meaningful story arc.
