Man Who Robbed Lost Star Reaches Plea
The man who robbed Josh Holloway (Lost’s Sawyer) at gunpoint in 2005 agreed to a plea deal that will earn the repeat offender 30 years in prison, Associated Press reports. It apparently wasn’t this guy’s first, or even fifth offense. His police record includes kidnapping, auto theft and first-degree robbery.
Armed with a semiautomatic .45-caliber pistol, 23-year-old Ruben Royce broke into the Holloway home, held the Holloways at gunpoint and took their wallets including their credit cards. Royce then drove off in their Mercedes-Benz. Royce told police he had no idea who Josh Holloway was at the time of the robbery. Rather, he was just looking for nice homes and cars then breaking into the residences.
Josh Holloway is one of the most popular actors on the hit series, which films in Oahu. Dude, who robs Sawyer at gunpoint? That’s a good way to end up like John Locke’s dad.
