New Iron Man Trailer in Feb. 28’s Lost
Last week there was much miscommunication about a new Iron Man trailer appearing in the Feb. 21 episode of Lost. Apparently, that was never supposed to happen, but press materials from Marvel Comics didn’t make it abundantly clear that they were referring to this week’s episode.The result was thousands, if not millions, of fans looking blankly at the first five minutes of Eli Stone and wondering what went wrong. But the new Iron Man trailer really is going live during the Feb. 28 Lost episode, “The Constant.”
With Lost’s new season being spot on so far, SFUniverse was already sufficiently geeked out about this upcoming episode. The Iron Man trailer just pushes the level of expectations into the stratosphere. Considering the checkered history of Tony Stark, we have another theory about what happened last week. Stark got his fifth of Peppermint Schnapps on and no showed the trailer ala George Jones. Hey, it wouldn’t be the first time a drunken Iron Man missed an appointment. Not sayin’, we’re just sayin’.
