Sarah Jane Adventures Comes to SCI FI

If you put “Doctor Who” in the center of a seesaw — the very adult “Torchwood” would go on one end and “The Sarah Jane Adventures” would go on the other.  Developed as a “Doctor Who” for kids, “The Sarah Jane Adventures” has one of The Doctor’s most popular companions (Elisabeth Sladen ) traveling the universe with her new young friends, Maria (Yasmine Paige), Clyde (David Anthony), and Luke (Thomas Knight), her newly adopted, genetically engineered son.

Week after week, the group travels the galaxy fending off all forms of aliens monsters in the typically overblown and colorful “Doctor Who” fashion. Sounds like a fun show you can share with your kids.

The series premieres Friday, April 11 at 8:00 on SCI FI.
