Galactica Fans, Our Time Is Coming
The eternal wait is almost over. Can you taste the anticipation? One of the best shows on television, sci-fi or otherwise, returns April 4 with the new episode “He That Believeth in Me.”
Starbuck, mysteriously returned from the dead, ended last season claiming she had been to Earth and can lead humanity back there. Since Katie Sackhoff was supposed to have a recurring role on the ill-fated Bionic Woman remake, it wouldn’t surprise me if they were planning to have her take a lesser role in Battlestar’s final season. That’s not necessary now, as there wasn’t enough tech support in the world to keep Bionic Woman online.
If she’s really Starbuck, that is. All bets are off for the final season, friends. Remember four fleet members found out they were Cylons last year.
Speaking of Cylons, it is so great to see Lucy Lawless back on a quality show. She’s too good an actress to be subjected to dreck like Locusts and Vampire Bats.
The cast has been busy promoting the show’s return, with promotional appearances including reading a Top 10 on David Letterman.
Sci-Fi Channel will get us primed with two half-hour specials, one recapping the first three seasons and another featuring celebs like Brad Paisley talking about why they love the show. The recap show airs March 28 at 10 p.m. ET, with the celebrity retrospective immediately afterward at 10:30 p.m.
