Battlestar Galactica Board Game Coming
We’re all more than a little sad that hit show Battlestar Galactica is gone after this season, but Fantasy Flight Games is presenting a way for you to keep getting your fix.
The popular game maker has announced a BSG board game coming in the fall. Fantasy Flight says that the game will feature cooperative play and like the show it’s based on, both political and military conflicts will play a huge role. And also, one or more of the people playing the game may be a diabolical Cylon in disguise. Other than that, everything’s peachy keen.
“Battlestar Galactica’s rich storylines and compelling characters provide the perfect playground for a totally immersive gaming experience,” said Adam Stotsky, Executive Vice President of Global Brand Strategy and Market Development for the SCI FI Channel.
As a longtime fan of the current incarnation as well as the original BSG, I hope this one flies. Wizkids attempted a collectible card game but that one didn’t find a big audience and got discontinued in March 2007.
