Jericho Season Two DVD Details

On June 17, the second season of sci-fi fave Jericho explodes (I’m sorry, couldn’t resist) onto DVD. CBS Paramount had initially announced a June 10 release date.
The DVD will include the seven episode second season that ended in the show’s unfortunate cancellation as well as the cliffhanger ending that left things open for a third campaign somewhere.
It also has 14 deleted scenes, audio commentaries on from the cast and crew and two featurettes. The first is Nut Job, a sort of valentine to the fiercely dedicated fans that helped bring the show back for a second season by besieging the network with tons of peanuts.
Rebuilding Jericho is a 25-minute featurette exploring how the show was brought back to life from a production and broadcast standpoint. Video will be in widescreen with audio in 5.1 surround.
Co-executive producers Dan Shotz and Jon Steinberg offer commentary on five episodes on the DVD. Also on June 17, CBS Paramount will offer a Jericho: The Complete Series package.
