But still allowed characters to interact with each other, such as the JLA (earth one) teaming up with the JSA (earth two) or battling The Crime Syndicate (earth three) and i think its basically the same as different dimensions. Things are the same but they can be very different. Barry Allen said the vibrational differences keep them apart.
