Jericho Star Joins Caprica Cast

Esai Morales wasn’t out of TV work for very long. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Jericho’s Major Edward Beck will play Joseph Adams in Sci Fi Channel’s two-hour pilot Caprica.

Caprica is a prequel to the hit show Battlestar Galactica set roughly 50 years before BSG. Joseph Adams is the father of Admiral William Adama. Joseph is described as a “deeply passionate man with a strong sense of justice -  and someone you wouldn’t want as your enemy.”

The spinoff will tell the story of the Adama and Greystone families and BSG executive producer Ron Moore said the tone will be more like Dallas than Galactica. I don’t know about this one but like most Galactica fans, I’m certainly going to give it a try.
