Save Jericho Site Burning Up the Web

The Save Jericho site has received more than 9,000 visits in less than two weeks with executive producers Carol Barbee and Jon Turteltaub being among the visitors. They called the fans’ campaign “brilliant” and gave supporters hope assuring them that talks to bring the twice canceled postapocalyptic drama back to TV continue.
Jericho Rangers raised $6,000 in less than a month to fund 10 days of advertising with Time Warner. That’s in addition to funding an ad in Variety and purchasing a billboard in downtown Los Angeles. The TV ad can also be viewed on YouTube. On the site, fans can also download Save Jericho postcards for the continued letter-writing campaign.
As you’ve probably noticed, Jericho Rangers have been quite active on our site as well, sparking some of the most passionate debate in SFUniverse history. Whatever happens, this has been one of the biggest stories of the year and you know we’ll keep you up to date. We have been unable to determine the truthfulness of the rumor that CBS is giving Jericho’s old timeslot to new show CSI:Survivor Island.

Thank you Brian for the coverage on Jericho and the efforts to bring it back in some form. I’ve never in history heard of a television program that has done so much to bring itself back after cancellation, but also for the community and our men and women serving in our nations military. Appreciate your sense of humor too : “We have been unable to determine the truthfulness of the rumor that CBS is giving Jericho’s old timeslot to new show CSI:Survivor Island.” Unfortunately, it’s not only funny but true. I’m hoping that broadcast television will get a clue at some point and bring more quality programing to it’s viewers. Here’s to Season 3 of Jericho and beyond!

It is a real pleasure to see all of the COMBINED efforts of the Jericho Rangers. All of these efforts will pay off and deservingly so!! Every letter, every comment, every DVD bought, every Ad placed, every nut sent, every balloon and flowers sent, every billboard, every TV ad made, and every cheerleader by ALL the Rangers will make the difference in getting Jericho back.
And can you believe that the Billboard is owned by CBS and it’s still standing in all its majestic glory for all of the Hollywood executives to see. I have to giggle everytime I see it. How ironic! Thanks Brian for the coverage!

This article speaks about more than just Jericho…it tells all of us that viewers can make a difference. We don’t have to take a cancellation lying down…we can DO something about it! If you have ever had one of your favorite tv shows cancelled in the past and it left you so frustrated that you have decided your not going to take it anymore….that is what this campaign is really about! We all want to have a say in what we watch, when we watch it and how we watch it. So, do something, make noise, tell the networks your not going to take it anymore! And yes, I am a Jericho fan…..obviously! Thanks for such an articulately written article!

As I’ve mentioned before, we’re new 2 the Jericho Juggernaut…Matter of fact, we just picked up Season_1 & 2 this past wkd…Just like one of you said, after that 1st episode–we were hooked…We watched the rest of Disc_1 non-stop–It was great…We especially like how Skeet Ulrich doesn’t dilly-dally or abide others that do…Case in point, he barely finished the words “all clear” on the radio before he blew the mine shaft in Epi03…We thought that was funny.
We’ll certainly be watching the rest this wkd…Now, I understand why such a devoted following…In the same respect what “House” did for medical dramas, “Jericho” does for post-apocalyptic dramas.

I am 51 years old & am also a jericho fan, bring it back please. I am so tired of good shows starting only to be cancelled before the story is finished leaving everyone hanging. There are so many just plain stupid shows on and way too many reality shows, why can’t this edge of the seat show that makes people think keep going ? Everyone I know of all ages likes the show. Hope you find a way to bring it back new.
