SCI FI: Galactica on Track for January
The most important question in the world of Battlestar Galactica is not who the final Cylon is, or what happened to Earth. It’s when the frak the second half of Battlestar’s final season will begin.
This week there has been widespread speculation that BSG’s second half would finish up in June 2009, which would have it starting somewhere around April. Pop culture sites including io9 reported on the delay. The rumor got enough traction that SCI FI Channel felt compelled to debunk it through its Sci Fi Wire news arm. A spokesman for SCI FI said Galactica is “still slated to return January 2009.
So there, move along. There is no Battlestar Galactica delay to see here according to SCI FI. Count us among the millions of Galactica faithful that hope SCI FI Channel is telling us straight. So say we all.
