Movie News: Ghostbusters, Book of Eli

September 4, 2008 by Cynthia

According to Variety, Columbia Pictures is in development on a new Ghostbusters movie. Though it’s possible we could see the old cast reunited, it’s likely the focus will be on a new young bred of busters.

Wait — I think Kripke already did that.  It’s called Ghostfacers!?!?

In a more serious vein, Denzel Washington will star in the post-apocalyptic drama “Book of Eli.”

  1. The Book of Eli? Excuse me but haven’t we heard this one? Er seen this one? FREEDOM DEEP! With a new Final Directors Version about to be released and the original having screened throughout on TV and DVD what is the point? Denzel Washington? (the new Charles Bronson of mono facial expressions and reactions). The 2 directors of From Hell? What the hell? it took 2 directors to make that? Please FREEDOM DEEP is a film from the heart not the wallet! (see http://www.quietearth.us http://www.imdb.com http://www.freedomdeep.com http://www.amazon.com etc

what is “Freedom deep”? never heard of this. did it go straight to Blockbuster because i know nothing of it. went to website for it was that Andrew W. K. in the promo pics, man i see B-movie written all over that. If denzel is bad acting i wish all actors would approach his style.
