Paquin Talks Vampires - And Drama
One of the most high-profile genre shows debuts this Sunday on HBO, vampire series True Blood. I’ve promised Cynthia I’ll stop calling it “That Show Where Rogue from the X-Men Fights The Vampires.”
Anyhow, it’s getting a lot of publicity because it’s HBO and because it’s the return of Six Feet Under creator Alan Ball to the pay cable network. Expectations are a little high for this one, shall we say? Star Anna Paquin has an interview with the National Post where she talks about how excited she is to be a part of this show.
She has signed up for seven seasons so HBO has lofty goals for this one. Please ignore the part of the interview where she says she doesn’t read blogs. Sometimes our young performers in this industry lose their way and give bad advice.

i will watch this to see how they do the vampire genre. i know he took jabs at “Moonlight” which you should, come on a vampire show on CBS. Who did not know that would suck. you need good storylines with the pretty vampire or you will get canceled.
