New SciFi Series for ABC

According to Variety, Greg Berlanti and Renee Echevarria are developing a new scifi series for ABC called “The Return.” The show deals with the impact on the world when aliens show up (Alien Nation, Invaders, UFO. . . ).

Echevarria comes with quite the scifi pedigree.  He was the executive producer on The 4400 and Dark Angel and he learned the ropes working in the Star Trek universe.
