The Complete 4400 Series on DVD Today

One of our all-time favorite shows, The 4400, leads this Tuesday’s DVD releases. As is the case with so many shows in this genre, it never got the audience or the attention it deserved. The good news is that talented series regulars on catching on everywhere.

On Terminator:The Sarah Connor Chronicles you can find both Summer Glau and Garret Dillahunt as some seriously mean machines. Megalyn Echikunwoke has landed a prize role as Dr. Tara Price on CSI:Miami. While the show may be gone, its cast is still making plenty of waves in the industry. Now you can enjoy the whole run of this great series on DVD.

For classic fantasy TV fans, Dark Shadows:The Beginning, Vol. 6 contains writer interviews, SCI FI Channel commercials and old school merchandise promos. My mom would not let me legally change my name to Barnabas and I still bear some of the emotional scars.

The week’s big sci-fi movie release is Brendan Fraser starring in the remake of Journey to the Center of the Earth. Between this and the Mummy flicks, Fraser is making quite a living as “Indiana Jones Lite.”
