Knight Rider Who?
You guys can grumble all you like, but my love for Knight Rider just grows and grows. Last night it was a Halloween themed episode called “Knight of the Living Dead.” Billy steps into frame wearing his costume, a long, navy, military coat, baggy trousers, old fashioned suspenders. . . could it be? Yes, indeedy! Billy was dressed as Captain Jack Harkness! How cool is that and what percentage of the audience had any idea who they were talking about?
I’ll even forgive them the sexuality jokes because each joke was one more chance to hit the audience over the head with the idea that Captain Jack is fabulous and if they aren’t watching him on Doctor Who or Torchwood, they should be!
Obviously someone on the writing staff is a huge Harkness fan. Maybe they can get John Barrowman as a guest star, you know, playing some Captain Jack-ish rouge agent who has the hots for Mike. Hmm. . . I feel a fan fic coming on. . .
“Tell me, KITT. Is that your dipstick or are you just happy to see me?”

Same here.. at first I was like “oh, that looks like he’s dressed like Jack… waitaminnit.. he IS dressed like Jack!”… just about enough to make me forgive what they’ve done with KARR… no doubt GM (or Ford!) wouldn’t let them use an old Trans Am… though I guess it’s not supposed to be the original KARR :P

Oh I was one of the very few percentage of people that got the joke and was all happy about it. Oh yes people, you have to watch Torchwood at least to take the curiosity out of who is this amazing Jack Harkness.
