Jericho Reruns Coming to CW Network
November 21, 2008 by brian
Jericho is coming to back to TV - in a way, at least. CW today announced it will air reruns of cult favorite Jericho on its Sunday night schedule. This ends an interesting experiment for CW that saw it outsourcing its Sunday night lineup to Media Rights Capital.
That lineup included the drama Easy Money and sitcom Surviving Suburbia and today’s announcement confirms those shows didn’t work. Joining Jericho on the new (or should that be old?) Sunday night CW lineup are reruns of The Drew Carey Show and theatrical movies. The change becomes effective Nov. 30.
The good news here is that Jericho, one of the best shows most of America didn’t watch, is back on TV. It’s not as nice as new episodes, but it’s something.

It’s a step towards new episodes!
Gwen, new episodes of Jericho in my opinion would draw a higher rating than anything else CW has tried in the timeslot.
I’m writing about another show getting dropped daily. Episodic TV is going to die if executives don’t start giving shows time to catch on.
Hi Brian,
I totally agree. I really wish TV Guide still published the “Best Show You Aren’t Watching”, since that was very informative to many potential viewers.
Gwen
Great news and look at all the free publicity CW is getting.
The fight for season three continues…
The fan made Save Jericho commercial airs Nationally on the Universal HD Network this month.
CBS failed Jericho by not promoting it adequately. With the CW airing old episodes, people will have a chance to fall in love with it. I’ve watched each episode multiple times, but I will definitely tune in to CW to watch them again.
