Dollhouse: Pilot Promo Pics

While checking on this week’s Fringe, I decided to pop over to the Dollhouse section of the Fox website and I found some new promo pics from the pilot. The photos really catch my eye, but I’m really not sure what to make of this show. Early trailers didn’t impress me at all, now there’s been this ‘retooling’ and new trailers have more bite to them.

It seems like the perfect show for FOX, a mix of scifi and action with a cult favorite lead (Dushku) and creator (Joss Whedon) at the helm. Personally, I’ve never been a big fan of female-centric action shows with Buffy and Sarah Connor being the rare exceptions. But then, both of those shows are highly dependent on the supporting players so I guess that’s the make or break point for me. I hope to be pleasantly surprised and Dollhouse will become one of my favorites.
