Caprica Gets Full Season Pickup

SCI FI Channel is betting that Battlestar fans won’t have had their fill of the universe that reinvented the classic sci-fi series. Today SCI FI announced a 20 episode full season pickup of BSG prequel Caprica.
Caprica focuses on the 12 Colonies’ two preeminent families, the Greystones and the Adamas. The Greystones are the family that create the artificial intelligence that will grow into the Cylons. The Adamas will go on to lead the Colonial Fleet and in Lee Adama’s case, become president.
BSG creator Ron Moore has said the tone of this one will be more like Dallas than Galactica. What do you think, readers? Does this Viper fly as far as you’re concerned?

That does not sound good, a dallas reference. Who shot JR adama or it was only a dream.
We can only hope it becomes as popular as Dallas. But with 50,000 cable networks, the heyday of shows like Dallas is probably long gone.
There are too many TV choices for anything to become a juggernaut like Dallas was back in the day.
