Tonight on Fringe: Safe

December 2, 2008 by Cynthia

It’s the last new episode before the holiday break so enjoy it while you can — and take notes, because I’m not sure I can keep following the twists and turns in this series if I have to wait a month for the next installment.

This time around a guy gets cut in two when a wall materializes around him and I swear I just saw this on some other show. I know they talked about it happening on an episode of Stargate Atlantis, but didn’t I see a show recently where a guy’s hand (?) got cut off when he tried to pass through a wall and it went solid? Someone help me out here.

Fringe: “Safe” (#110)

TUESDAY, DEC. 2 at 9:00 on FOX

Investigating a series of bank robberies, Olivia, Walter and Peter are shocked to find one of the suspects inexplicably trapped inside a vault wall as if it solidified around him. Walter realizes that the high-tech thieves have figured out a way to defy the law of physics and that, much to his dismay, the crooks are after something of his. As the ongoing investigation unfolds and the mystery deepens, the perilous situation climaxes when a member of the FRINGE trio is ambushed in an all-new episode.

It was a fantastic episode. But the phasing thing was a rip off of Eureka from just a few months ago. Other than that, it was really entertaining stuff.
