Fringe Looks to Second Season, Sarah Connor Not So Much
January 13, 2009 by Cynthia
Fox chief Kevin Reilly spoke to reporters today at the 2009 Winter TCA’s in Los Angeles. He said that Fringe, though not the ratings winner they had hoped for, is likely to pull a second season due to its very loyal following.
Sarah Connor, however, is going to have to pull all the stops out if they want to come back next year. The show is underperforming, and Fox is giving it one last chance with this new Friday time slot.
Reilly spoke positively about Joss Whedon’s Dollhouse, saying that the show was retooled and that now its where it needs to be “creatively.” I’m not holding out much hope.
Ron Moore’s Virtuality has been sent back to the starting blocks for a retooling of its own. Reilly called th pilot as it stands “a little bit too dense.” Don’t hold your breath on that one.

Crap! Come on TSCC! YOu can do it! I’m hoping the Kyle storyline they’ve been teasing will really get the show revved up.
will FOX do us all a favor and just quit trying to program live action shows as they are not very good at it. just to animation and that American Idol, that is where your viewers come from anyway.
