<p>MICHAEL ROSENBAUM. For the intents and purposes of the show’s storyline, that’s an obvious yes. But if you’re looking for Michael Rosenbaum, there’s been no indication of that. And having Lex Luthor appear as scarred beyond recognition is a good way to cover things up.

Lex is trying to get the Prometheus treatment that gave Lana her superpowers. Watch Heroes, guys. Wide-scale distribution of powers leads to bad things. In tonight’s episode, Requiem, Lex is again threatening to destroy Clark.

And there is an appearance by classic Superman villain The Toyman, reminding us how important Lex Luthor is to the Super-mythos. Supes is just not loaded with the impressive supervillains. This is kind of ironic since Superman is the standard by which all other superheroes are measured by.

Lana has left the building! And none to soon since the last 5 episodes have felt like the final 2hrs. aboard the Titanic with this Lana arc. Take care.

    Peace To All

Agree with the above poster re: Lana

I thought it was pretty brave to have Lex killed off (in comicdom, nothing is forever though…).

Now that Lana is gone, perhaps we can get back to the business of The Legion and the Justice League. Not sure how much longer Smallville will last but I hope the producers are thinking of spinning off a few of our favorite super characters.

In order to help with any new spinoffs (and I do so hope to see JLA and/or The Legion), they’ll need to create some interesting storylines now as a segue into other shows. Fingers-crossed…
