Jared Padalecki at Friday the 13th Premiere

It was a dark and stormy night in Hollywood, just perfect for the premiere of Friday the 13th. Supernatural’s Jared Padalecki walked the red carpet at Grauman’s Chinese along with Danielle Panabaker, Amanda Righetti, Aaron Yoo, Travis Van Winkle and the man behind the mask, Derek Mears.
In this new take on the classic film, Jared plays Clay, a man in search of his sister who has gone missing while on a trip with her friends to Crystal Lake. He meets up with another group of potential victims and the slaughter begins (or should that be continues) as Jason arrives to tear up the place.
Jared spent a good portion of the last two days giving interviews and you’ll find them all over the net including some great remotes from a variety of CW affiliates such as KTLA. In the interviews Jared jokes about the audition process which was him wearing a bra while running around in the woods screaming (he’s joking) , Friday the 13th as a morality tale (he’s joking) and getting hand surgery with only a general anethestic so he could watch (not joking.)
Friday the 13th opens in theaters everywhere this Friday, the 13th, of course.

With Michael Bay in one of the Producrs chairs, the production values should by pretty hjigh.
The last premier showing I attended was ‘Snakes On A Plane’ with a fist full of rubber snakes…I’m tempted to bring my rubber Machete…but won’t.
This should be fun though. (Even without Kane Hodder? We’ll see.)

I am from Peru and I went with my friends to see Friday the 13th, yesterday in a Lima theater. I have a lot of fun..!! The movie gave me exactly what i was expecting: Jason killing teens in a variety of ways!!! Jared Padalecki is gorgeous and although this is not the kind of movie where we can appreciate someone’s acting, he took it seriously and did a very good job. In general, all the actors played their roles as they were supposed. Besides Jared, Jason was huge and the Asian guy was adorable..!! Oh, and my favorite death, the blond guy with the arrow, it happened so fast, it was unexpected, I almost missed it!!! Go and see it, it is FUN!
