Green Lantern Ready for First Flight

March 5, 2009 by brian

Hal Jordan No Fear As a lifetime Green Lantern fan, this is about the best time I’ve ever enjoyed. Geoff Johns is doing the most amazing work on the adventures of a resurrected Hal Jordan ever, there’s a major motion picture in the works and now an animated film is coming to our homes on DVD.

Green Lantern:First Flight is on its way from Warner Home Video and they’ve launched a site for you to get updates.

The success of Iron Man in 2008 proved you don’t have to be an A-list superhero to get top notch movie treatment. GL has never reached the popularity of a Superman or Spider-Man, but with this promotional push in the works that may all be about to change.

BTW, TF2, if u haven’t seen it yet–skip it…It was an excessive, absurd, derogatory disappointment…There was so many overt sexual metaphors & half-completed expletives we thought it was rated “R”, yet the tkt said “PG13″…If it wasn’t 4 the Optimus & BumbleBee action scenes, this would have been a failure instead of success I’m sure…Specifically, it was easier 2 follow the fight scenes in this sequel, than the 1st one…Altogether, the amount excessive explosion action scenes were so excessive, it was mindless…Which is sad personally, because I watched these cartoons as a kid (along w/GI Joe) & love action-adventure movies…Maybe Hasbro, Spielberg & Paramount will give Micheal Bay the boot & hire a better director…Of course, that’s my opinion, I could be wrong…Thanks.
