Esurance Unveils Online Star Trek Game

Have you seen those animated commercials for Esurance featuring super spy Erin? This week Erin is going where no man has gone before – into the world of Star Trek the movie.
Esurance has announced the recent launch of a new Star Trek movie-themed Flash game featuring the company’s special agent brand icon, Erin Esurance. The free online game includes animated versions of alien life-forms from the film and can be found on the Trek micro-site.
Players of the free Flash game guide Erin Esurance through the ice planet, Delta Vega, as she engages in a mission to locate a missing member of Star Fleet, Officer Keenser. As Erin tries to find Star Fleet Officer Keenser, she collects equipment from a Star Fleet science station all while fighting attacks from Polarilla and Snow Slug, two tough alien monsters.
When you first hit the site, you’ll find a behind the scenes featurette with JJ Abrams and the cast of the new movie. Follow through to the “Out of This World” content tab, and you’ll find exclusive Star Trek content and downloads including wallpapers and AIM icons.
Hi there. Good report, though unless I’m missing something or there is more to the story, the Esurance site has been up for a few months and the game went a month ago. Are they perhaps going to start new ads?
Devon, interesting. . . the press release I was given yesterday said that the game was new.
Perhaps it was in beta was officially released yesterday?
The site has been up for awhile, I understood that but even so, I hadn’t seen it, so perhaps it’s new to others too.
