The End is Near: Day One Comes to NBC
May 4, 2009 by Cynthia
Today, at the NBC “Infronts,” the network confirmed that Day One will be on their fall schedule. Day One is a survival story that begins after a “global catastrophe” decimates the world’s infrastructures. Like the cult favorite Jericho, the show revolves around a mixed bag of survivors, in this case the residents of an apartment building in Van Nuys, California, who must band together in order to stay alive.
There are some big guns behind the series, namely executive producer/writer Jesse Alexander (“Heroes,” “Lost,” “Alias”) and director Alex Graves (“Fringe,” “Journeyman”). The cast if full of young faces you’ve seen but probably can’t put a name to including Adam Campbell (“Harper’s Island”), Catherine Dent (“Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”), Julie Gonzalo (“Eli Stone”), David Lyons (“ER”), Derek Mio (“Greek”), Carly Pope (“24″), Thekla Reuten (“Sleeper Cell”) and Addison Timlin (“Cashmere Mafia”).
They say it’s a story of hope, about how heroes are born every day — looters and price gougers are also born every day, so we’ll just have to see how this goes.

Good luck to NBC Jericho is big boots to fill I’ll watch it and ponder why? Why did you not pick up Jericho.
Jericho is great show and believe its a show that deserves another season or two, this show will have to be just as good as Jericho to last as long as Jericho, I believe Jericho should still be consider incase this show doesn’t come through, or better yet have them side by said, I mean who doesn’t enjoy a near end of the world show seeing how people will pick up the pieces afterwords.
But I’m just a humble tv viewer and fan, but I know what I like and I know other people would agree with me on what I’m saying here.
