Scream Award Nominees Announced
It’s time for the Scream Awards and several of our favorite sci-fi and paranormal shows have made the grade. Not our FAVORITE show, but we’ll forgive them since they did nominate Jensen Ackles’ My Bloody Valentine 3-D and Jared Padalecki’s Friday the 13th for Best Horror Movie. Jamie King was nominated for MBV 3-D but neither of the boys made the best actor cut. (I’m digging on that great Spanish poster with an actual cast photo on it! )
J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek movie got the most nominations, 17 in all including The Ultimate Scream, Best Science Fiction Movie, Best Director, Best Ensemble, Holy Sh*t Scene of the Year and a nod in the all-new Fight-to-the-Death Scene of the Year category. HBO’s True Blood picked up nine nominations.
