Because this is SCI-FI I still keep hoping that somehow they will fiqure out a way to bring Ashley back to life. I was very disapointed when she was killed. Alot of new shows it seems make the same mistake of killing off a lead character to seem more true to life I guess? Most shows don't recover in the end. I'm very relieved that the death of the "Big guy" was a hoax. I probably wouldn't continue to watch otherwise. If I wanted to see shows that were true to life I would watch Lifetime. I don't. Most people watch and or read SCI-Fi for a break from reality. It's kinda like when a good sitcom just has to screw things up by having too many heartfelt and or sad moments. If I wanted to be reminded of mortality I wouldn't watch a sit-com. C'mon writers real life sucks enough without being reminded of death and sadness on a show that people clearly watch for pure sci-fi/fantasy entertainment. If you must kill people off to satisfy some need to "be real" do it with guest stars not main characters that we have come to know and love.

I definitely agree that killing Ashley was a huge mistake!!! What, did someone have issues with the actress playing her roll or something? Whatever the reason, I think by killing her off the show has lost a key ingredient that made season 1 so fun. Still watching the show for now to see how this season ends but I hope for the show's sake it's spectacular, otherwise I see a lof of fans going away.

The smart mouth new babe didn't replace Ashley, she's a new ingredient to season 2's recipe. If any character in the show ever muttered that line Magnus would surely respond "Ashley is not replaceable".BTW, No one really dies in Sci-Fi even after the ghost comes back. I missed part 2 in which Ashley "left". Any idea where to view it? Thanks

I agree with Bob - why kill off Ashley. I'm hanging in there a little longer because I like the Magnus and Will characters, but Ashley gave it a young kick butt approach in a female character. I'm not big on a smart mouth thief taking her place.

I think will needs a love interest! a nice hottie, not the one that currently been captured and is not trustable!!! the invisable girl was just right for him. keep the action comming don't like slow moving plots and shows so far it's been great. keep a good plot going don't loose your way like most new shows do and then get cancelled!!!!!

[...] Tapping and Dunne Talk Sanctuary Season 2 “Earlier this month, Sanctuary stars Amanda Tapping and Robin Dunne sat down with reporters for an extensive interview. There was an easy banter between the both of them; humorous and self-deprecating. From the sound of it, they have a great working relationship that will only grow stronger (both on screen and off) as the second season of Sanctuary takes hold.” Read more. [...]
