Supernatural: My Bloody Valentine First Look

Monster Movie is one of my favorite episode of Supernatural and I’m thinking this will be another winner in the same vein. First off, we have the great title which pays tribute to Jensen Ackles’ recent flick My Bloody Valentine 3-D. Next up, we have a clever premise that surely kept the cameraman on his toes – Cupid is naked – so it’s all about the angles and blocking.

Finally, there’s the comedy. Given what they can and can’t show on TV, a lot of this is being sold in the facial expressions of Sam, Dean and Castiel. Enjoy this clip from this week’s episode of Supernatural: My Bloody Valentine.

First, “a cupid has gone rogue and we need to stop him before he kills again.”

Next, it’s all about the greeting!

Also, “It’s when a dog doesn’t eat, that’s when you know something’s wrong.”

Supernatural First Look Clips: The Song Remains the Same

Here’s a look at the next episode of Supernatural. They were calling this one “Back to the Future II” for obvious reasons, but I imagine the legal department had a say in changing it to “The Song Remains the Same.” I like that title better because it’s haunting and I think this one is gonna hurt.

There are so many great shows on Thursday nights, I thought I’d post Vampire Diaries a day early so you can enjoy the pics and vids ahead of time.

As Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) try to figure out the identity of the new vampire in town, Stefan gives Elena (Nina Dobrev) jewelry filled with Vervain to protect her family and friends. Hurting for money, Matt (Zach Roerig) takes a job at the Mystic Grill, where former high school football star Ben (guest star Sean Faris, “Never Back Down”) works as a bartender. Ben comes to Bonnie’s (Katerina Graham) aid when he notices Damon is bothering her. Damon and Stefan accompany Elena to a school dance with a 1950s’ theme, where Alaric (guest star Matt Davis) introduces himself to Damon. Steven R. McQueen and Sara Canning also star. Liz Friedlander directed the episode written by Barbie Kligman & Brian Young (#111).

This looks like a fun one! Great effect in the clip – do you think that’s a piece of plexi between them with both actors performing the same motions or is it a digital splice? I’m thinking actors, a ‘la Lucy and Harpo on I Love Lucy.

SAM’S BODYSNATCHED! — High school nerd Gary (guest star Colton James), conjures up a body-switching spell and changes bodies with Sam (Jared Padalecki). Thrilled by his new handsome and built body, Gary (now Sam) investigates a case with Dean (Jensen Ackles) and takes advantage of Sam’s good looks and age by hitting on women and getting drunk. Meanwhile, the real Sam is stuck inside Gary’s teenage body, dealing with intrusive parents and high school. Also guest stars Sarah Drew (“Everwood,” “Mad Men”) as ‘Nora.’ Robert Singer directed the episode written by Julie Siege with story by Julie Siege, Rebecca Dessertine and Harvey Fedor (#512).

First Look at Supernatural: Sam Interrupted – 2 NEW Clips

Airs January 21 at 9:00 on The CW

Here are three clips from the new episode. Clip number 1 has the guys getting themselves committed to a mental institute simply by telling the truth. Clip number 2 has the line “take down your pants!” followed by the snap of rubber gloves! LOL! Clip number 3 has Dean well on his way to crazy. I’ll have them all for you soon.

Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) go undercover at a mental institution in response to a distress call from Martin Creaser, a former hunter (guest star Jon Gries) who’s a patient there. Creaser thinks supernatural forces may be the real reason behind a large number of patient suicides and is afraid for his own life, but the experience proves to be a very dangerous one for the Winchester brothers as well. “Sam, Interrupted” was written by Andrew Dabb & Dan Loflin and directed by Jim Conway.

Take a walk on the dark side with the new extended trailer for Family Guy: Something, Something, Something, Dark Side.

You can watch it at Apple.com/trailers or download it exclusively at the iTunes Store. Either way, you’ll get a good laugh of this replica trailer from The Empire Strikes Back told Family Guy style.

I don’t laugh out loud at much but when the At-At hits the ground in the trailer and does the traditional Family Guy gasp and sigh. . . too funny.

The saga continues as Luke (Chris), Leia (Lois), Han Solo (Peter) and Chewbacca (Brian) have evaded the dreaded Imperial Starfleet led by the cunning, conniving and curiously short evil lord Darth Vader (Stewie), setting up a new secret base on the remote ice world of Hoth.

With the rebellion in trouble, young Skywalker must take the advice of his late, and rather lascivious, mentor Obi-Wan Kenobi (Herbert) and learn the ways of the “farce” under Jedi Master Yoda (Carl) to save the galaxy once and for all.

Family Guy: Something, Something, Something Dark Side will be available beginning December 22 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment on iTunes the same day it’s available on DVD and Blu-ray Disc. The Blu-ray Disc will include a portable digital copy of the film from the iTunes Store.
