The Legend of the Seeker returns tomorrow for the start of a second season, so I sat down with the show’s star, Craig Horner, to talk about the great guest stars, his affinity for sword play and what’s in store for fans of this fantasy / action series.

Legend of the Seeker Marathon on Syfy
If you haven’t been able to find Legend of the Seeker on your local TV channels, Syfy has a treat for you. On Thursday, November 5, from 6 pm – 12 midnight ET/PT, Syfy will be running a marathon of the sword and sorcery series covering six pivotal episodes.

Legend of the Seeker, the sword and sorcery series based on the books of Terry Goodkind, is coming back for a second season in just a few weeks. To get ready for the event, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has released Legend of the Seeker: The Complete First Season on DVD.

Jolene Blalock Joins Legend of the Seeker

Star Trek: Enterprise star Jolene Blalock has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming second season of the series Legend of the Seeker.
The series is an adaptation of best-selling author Terry Goodkind’s Sword of Truth book series. Blalock, who begins filming in New Zealand this week, will portray a mysterious Sister of the Dark who possesses very powerful magic — she not only threatens Richard’s (Craig Horner) quest to defeat evil forces, but her ultimate goal is to destroy Kahlan (Bridget Regan).

Brian Austin Green Begins Smallville Arc

Though we were introduced to his character this past week, Sarah Connor’s Brian Austin Green takes center stage in the upcoming episode of Smallville.
In “Metallo” John Corben (Brian Austin Green) is hit by a truck then wakes up alone in an abandoned apartment as a man-machine with a Kryptonite heart. Corben realizes he now has superhuman strength and sets out to exact revenge on the Red-Blue Blur, who he perceives to be an irresponsible vigilante. Against Clark’s (Tom Welling) wishes, Lois (Erica Durance) involves herself in the Red-Blue Blur’s investigation, and winds up getting kidnapped by Corben.

The Men of DragonCon 2009

Dragon*Con is winding down today after a full weekend celebrating the best in science fiction, fantasy and gaming. Here’s a look at some of the lovely ladies that were in attendance.
Let’s start with scifi royalty – Star Trek’s William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy.
Next it’s two of my fave’s Murdock and Face from A-Team, Dwight Schultz and Dirk Benedict who also starred in Star Trek: The Next Generation and the original Battlestar Galactica respectively.
Ghost Whisperer Comes to Syfy This Labor Day
Labor Day weekend marks the official end of summer and Syfy is celebrating with all-day programming marathons.
It begins on Friday, September 4 with a 22-episode, viewer’s choice, Eureka marathon.
Saturday and Sunday nights are dedicated to Syfy original movies and includes the premiere of Merlin and the War of the Dragons at 9:00 pm, and Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus starring Debra Gibson.
From 9:00 am to 7:00 pm on Sunday it’s Josh Gates and Destination Truth and on Monday from 8:00 am to 7:00 PM it’s Ghost Hunters.
Finally, Ghost Whisperer makes its Syfy debut with a mini-marathon from 7:00 to 11:00.
