The Legend of the Seeker returns tomorrow for the start of a second season, so I sat down with the show’s star, Craig Horner, to talk about the great guest stars, his affinity for sword play and what’s in store for fans of this fantasy / action series.

Legend of the Seeker, the sword and sorcery series based on the books of Terry Goodkind, is coming back for a second season in just a few weeks. To get ready for the event, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has released Legend of the Seeker: The Complete First Season on DVD.

Star Trek: Enterprise star Jolene Blalock has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming second season of the series Legend of the Seeker.
The series is an adaptation of  best-selling author Terry Goodkind’s Sword of Truth book series.  Blalock, who begins filming in New Zealand this week, will portray a mysterious Sister of the Dark who possesses very powerful magic — she not only threatens Richard’s (Craig Horner) quest to defeat evil forces, but her ultimate goal is to destroy Kahlan (Bridget Regan).

As Bridget Regan (seen here with costar Craig Horner) heads back to New Zealand to film another season of the fantasy hit Legend of the Seeker, her fans have a loftier goal in mind. They want to see her as Wonder Woman in the oft-talked about movie remake.

Bridget Regan’s TV credits include The Black Donnellys, New Amsterdam and Law & Order Criminal Intent. All great experiences, but none of them properly prepared her for the role of Kahlan Amnell in ABC’s syndicated series Legend of the Seeker which requires her to ride horseback through the magical Midlands.
Bridget plays Kahlan, a “Confessor” who wields her magic as well as she wields a sword.  Together with the wizard Zed (Bruce Spence) and the Richard Cypher, the Seeker (Craig Horner) she sets out to stop the invasion of the evil Darken Rahl.

Last week was light on the usual scifi suspects but a new player joined the line-up, let’s have a look.
Both Sarah Connor and Fringe were reruns last week.  You’ll get a new Sarah Connor tonight but Fringe won’t air due to the elections. After that we should be back on track with big November sweeps episodes.
Stargate Atlantis and Sanctuary were also missing from the schedule due to Ghost Hunters Live for Halloween.  They’ll both be back with new episodes this week.
