Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Castiel (Misha Collins) track down the Colt and head off to find Lucifer (guest star Mark Pelligreno) to send him back to Hell.  It’s a hunters’ reunion when the crew joins forces with Bobby (Jim Beaver), Ellen (guest star Samantha Ferris) and Jo (guest star Alona Tal) for what could be their last night on Earth.  Phil Sgriccia directed the episode written by Ben Edlund (#510).

The first quarter of the new TV season is coming to a close. With their biggest episodes running this month for sweeps, we can now look forward to weeks of reruns for the rest of 09.

There’s good news and there’s bad news. The good news is we have a first look video for this week’s episode of Supernatural called “Abandon All Hope. ” There’s more good news in that it stars Mark Sheppard as the deliciously evil Crowley. That’s not Mark in the photo there. He wasn’t in any of the promo photos for this episode but Dean’s looking right at him, so that’s something. . . huh?

IT’S A SUPERNATURAL CONVENTION! — Super fan Becky (guest star Emily Perkins) uses Chuck’s (guest star Chuck Benedict) phone to trick Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) into attending a Supernatural fan convention, complete with fans dressed up as Sam and Dean. One of the activities is a live action role playing game, but things quickly turn sour after a real ghost appears on the scene. This morning, I finally got my interview with the guys of Discovery Channel’s new paranormal series Ghost Lab and something very strange happened. I do all of my interviews through Skype with the Pamela add-on to record the call. I’ve been doing this for a couple of years now and have logged nearly 100 perfect recordings. Today, the software did what it was supposed to. The counter clicked off the time, the bars hopped up and down showing a voice signal but when I went to transcribe the interview I found only my voice and not theirs. A half hour …read more
