I’m Sam Winchester more often than I’m Jared Padalecki!

As we roll into the end of the fifth season, Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles took time out to talk with Supernatural Magazine about the enormity of it all. Here’s an excerpt from the Issue 14 interview which is on newstands now.
An interview with Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles
For nine months of the year, Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles are possessed by supernatural entities. It’s like demons – or angels – have taken over their bodies and they are powerless to do anything but watch their days unfold through someone else’s eyes while they speak someone else’s thoughts and …read more

Jensen Ackles Lends His Voice New Batman DVD

Among the list of Dean Winchester quotables is a line from “Bad Day at Black Rock” where he exclaims, “I’m Batman.”
Now, Jensen Ackles, the man behind Dean Winchester, is moving one step closer as he lends his voice to a new animated Batman DVD release.
According to the LA Times, Jensen will voice The Red Hood, an anti-hero, superhero in Batman: Under the Red Hood. Bruce Greenwood will voice Batman and even Neil Patrick Harris will be along for the ride.
No word on the release date yet, but a preview of the film will be included on the next Justice League DVD …read more

Supernatural: My Bloody Valentine First Look

Supernatural: My Bloody Valentine First Look

Monster Movie is one of my favorite episode of Supernatural and I’m thinking this will be another winner in the same vein. First off, we have the great title which pays tribute to Jensen Ackles’ recent flick My Bloody Valentine 3-D. Next up, we have a clever premise that surely kept the cameraman on his toes – Cupid is naked – so it’s all about the angles and blocking.
Finally, there’s the comedy. Given what they can and can’t show on TV, a lot of this is being sold in the facial expressions of Sam, Dean and Castiel. Enjoy this …read more

Tonight on Vampire Diaries and Supernatural

Thursday’s are killing me. In addition to the big Fringe winter finale, there’s also a huge episode of Supernatural and a great guest star on Vampire Diaries.
Looking back at the past seems to be the theme of the night. First up on Vampire Diaries: “Children of the Damned,” Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) recall the long-ago actions taken by townspeople including their father, Guiseppe Salvatore (guest star James Remar, “Dexter”), and Pearl (guest star Kelly Hu), leading to the devastating events that caused the rift in their relationship.
In the present, Bonnie’s (Katerina Graham) date with Ben (guest star …read more

It’s a Back to the Future Bullseye on the Next Supernatural

When next Thursday rolls around, you’ll want to make sure you have a crying towel on hand and a few friends to squeal to come 10:00 because the next episode of Supernatural is one of the best of the season.
The angels were kind to me this week, giving me the episode early – which was a boon because I won’t be able to watch it come Thursday. Believe me, though, I’ll be thinking of all of you because I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on this one.
Look at Dean over there, all crushed and serious. . . .

Supernatural First Look Clips: The Song Remains the Same

Here’s a look at the next episode of Supernatural. They were calling this one “Back to the Future II” for obvious reasons, but I imagine the legal department had a say in changing it to “The Song Remains the Same.” I like that title better because it’s haunting and I think this one is gonna hurt.

Supernatural: Swap Meat
Thursday, January 28, on The CW

SAM’S BODYSNATCHED!
High school nerd Gary (guest star Colton James), conjures up a body-switching spell and changes bodies with Sam (Jared Padalecki). Thrilled by his new handsome and built body, Gary (now Sam) investigates a case with Dean (Jensen Ackles) and takes advantage of Sam’s good looks and age by hitting on women and getting drunk. Meanwhile, the real Sam is stuck inside Gary’s teenage body, dealing with intrusive parents and high school.
No official photos from this episode so I’ve used one from the upcoming “My Bloody Valentine.”
