<p>Red carpet arrivals were followed by an elegant party under the stars where guests were able to fraternize with green girls, sample some red matter and get a close up look at the “final frontier” through the Observatory’s famous telescope.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[June Lockhart may have been at the USPS stamp unveiling to represent Lassie, but to me she&#8217;ll always been Maureen Robinson of Lost in Space. The stamps, designed in the shape of an old TV set, represent some of the best classic TV memories and include faves such as Twilight Zone and Alfred Hitchcock Presents, I Love Lucy and Dragnet.
The stamps are available now from the US Postal Service and they also have a nice set of matching postcards. 
Going back to June, doesn&#8217;t she look fabulous? And Lassie&#8217;s looking mighty nice herself.

But what I really want to know about is that postcard that FOX handed out at their booth. It’s called Virtual Echo and it says that if you aim a webcam at the design on the back, you’ll unlock an app that “takes Echo out of the Dollhouse and brings her to your computer.”

<p><strong>The Dark Knight</strong> was the evening’s biggest winner, taking home five awards including Best Action Film, Best Writing, Music, Special Effects and Best Supporting Actor for Heath Ledger.</p>
<p>On the television side, it was <strong>Battlestar Galactica</strong> that took home the most awards winning Best Syndicated/Cable Television Series, Best Actor on Television: Edward James Olmos, and Best Actress on Television: Mary McDonnell. <em>Lost</em> received the Saturn Award for Best Network Series, beating out <em>Supernatural, Fringe, Heroes, Life on Mars, and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. </em></p>
<p><em>Battlestar </em>was up against an odd mix of shows for Best Syndicated / Cable including <em>The Closer, Dexter, Leverage</em> and more predictable, <em>Star Wars: The Clone Wars and True Blood. </em></p>
<p><strong>Moonlight</strong> took the award for the best modern DVD with <strong>Invaders</strong> winning for retro DVD.</p>
<p>Several special awards were presented throughout the evening, <strong>Lance Henriksen</strong> took the Life Career Award, <strong>Jeffrey Katzenber</strong>g received the Visionary Award and <strong>Leonard Nimoy</strong> was handed the Lifetime Achievement Award.</p>
