Stargate Universe Trailer Promo
June 5, 2009 by Cynthia
According to this new trailer for Stargate Universe, this is a darker, sexier Stargate but is that something anyone ever asked for? Usually, I’m on board with dark and sexy, but I’m not ready to give up the lighthearted banter of Atlantis. Listening to Beckett and Sheppard verbally battle was the highlight of my Friday night.
The trailer also says it’s a story of hope. In my experience, that means that the majority of the story will be devoted to death and destruction. I don’t want hope, I want triumph. I want the good guys to win.
And can we talk about …read more
New Star Trek Movie TV Trailer
March 24, 2009 by Cynthia
How many ways can a trailer be cut? Apparently, quite a few as each one of these Star Trek trailers gives us something just a tad different than the others. I will say that each one gets me more and more excited about this movie, much more than the trailers for the new Terminator flick. This just feels like it will be a fun ride.
Which movie are you looking forward to most? Terminator or Star Trek?

Terminator Salvation Trailer #3
Warner Brothers has released a big, new trailer for Terminator Salvation which hits theaters May 21.
Since the entire franchise is built around a time travel loop, it’s hard to say if this is a prequel, sequel or parallel pic! What I can tell you is that it’s huge. The scope of this film is unlike any that have gone before, mostly due to the fact that it’s set in post-apocalyptic 2018. John Connor (Christian Bale) is all grown up now and he’s leading the human resistance against Skynet.
I’m going out on a limb here now and saying, I’m not …read more

It came from another galaxy a creeping, crawling, nightmare of terror! (Dontcha hate when that happens?!?)

Blade Runner is Back
November 15, 2007 by Cynthia
It’s dark, it’s gloomy, it’s apocalyptic – welcome to the Los Angeles of 2019. It’s Blade Runner and this classic Sci Fi movie is hotter than ever before. Harrison Ford stars as a blade runner called out of retirement to track down a group of rogue “replicants” that are hiding out in the city. The movie is masterfully directed by Ridley Scott, but it’s the overall look of the film that will blow you away. Incredible colors, detailed set-pieces, an entire futuristic world that manages to be both high-tech and 40’s noir all at the same …read more
