Using the communications stones, Lt. Scott (BRIAN J. SMITH) and Camile Wray (MING-NA) use their time back on earth to visit those they’ve left behind. Despite severe rationing and around the clock security, the water reserves on board the Destiny continue to drop. Dr. Nicholas Rush (ROBERT CARLYLE) has no explanation for this latest setback but, if they are to survive, they must find a new water source soon. The only planet within range is a frozen wasteland surrounded by a thin and poisonous atmosphere.

The Destiny is still without power and an attempt to alter their collision course with a star has failed. The situation is now critical. Earlier this month, Sanctuary stars Amanda Tapping and Robin Dunne sat down with reporters for an extensive interview.  There was an easy banter between the both of them;  humorous and self-deprecating. Sanctuary returns for a second season and it begins with an episode that changes everything for Magnus and Will. The two part season opener begins tonight and ends next week. It’s going to be a deeper, darker, more exciting season.

Syfy has announced their fall premiere dates including the start of the much-anticipated series Stargate Universe. The latest Stargate spin-off will launch on October 2 at 9:00 with a 2-hour event, then will continue to air Fridays at 9:00 beginning October 9.

With the switch rapidly approaching, the channel formerly known as Syfy has released a charming new promo video that is meant to capture the feel of the new brand.
I’ve always enjoyed SCI FI’s imaginative ads, seeing people and things transform right before your very eyes. This new promo takes it even one step further as some of the network’s stars come out to party in a truly magical castle.
