With the air supply failing on the Destiny, a team disembarks to a desert-like planet in search of the mineral needed to scrub the ship’s air of carbon dioxide. After testing numerous sand samples without success, and with their window of opportunity closing fast, the group opts to split into two to cover more ground, despite the unbearable heat. While one team presses on to find the treasured mineral, the other has another goal in mind. When it is apparent that Dr. Rush (ROBERT CARLYLE) can’t go on, Lt. Scott (BRIAN J. SMITH) decides to go it alone and orders Sgt. Greer (JAMIL WALKER SMITH) to return to safety with the exhausted scientist.
Meanwhile, with life on the ship looking bleak, and with the aid of the communication stones, Col. Young (LOUIS FERREIRA) reports in to O’Neill, and Chloe (ELYSE LEVESQUE), has one last chance to see her mother.

Since being captured by the Cabal a few months before, Ashley has been undergoing a series of injections and tests resulting in a formidable and alarming transformation. Unbeknownst to the Sanctuary team, her painful and dangerous mutation sets in motion the next phase of the Cabal’s destructive mission.
When highly classified information is stolen from a top-secret Interpol location, Magnus is alerted. Will Zimmerman (ROBIN DUNNE) investigates and is surprised to see that it is Ashley on the security tapes pulling off the heist single-handedly.
Relieved in part that Ashley is at least still alive, Magnus, Will, Druitt, Henry (RYAN ROBBINS) and Tesla (JONATHAN YOUNG) gather to make sense of this latest development and plan their next steps to bring her home.

Leonard Nimoy Talks About Carving Out His Newest Niche
Yesterday, the marvelous Mr. Leonard Nimoy spent part of his afternoon with a group of reporters to talk about his role in tonight’s episode of Fringe. But since he couldn’t reveal too many details about the mysterious William Bell, we got him to talk about other things like the state of science fiction on TV, the difference in TV production from Star Trek to now and his love of photography.
As someone who’s watched Star Trek most of her life, it was a real thrill to talk with an actor whose voice carries so many memories. He was warm and thoughtful but the best part was his laugh, a sound he let loose right after he was asked the first question. I wish I had a tape of it to play for you, but you’ll just have to imagine that deep, vibrato as he chuckled over a question I’m sure he’s been asked many times.
Did you have any reservations on taking another role with the potential of such a fanatic following?
L. Nimoy: I love this question. I can’t help but laugh because you’re absolutely right. It’s an interesting set of circumstances. What attracted me to it was several things. J.J. Abrams, Bob Orci, and Alex Kurtzman, who I worked with on the Star Trek movie, I admire their talent and the work that they do. The series is at the very least to say intriguing. The character was somewhat of a blank slate, but we began talking about it and, therefore, attracted because there’s an opportunity to build an interesting and unpredictable character. I’m enjoying it a lot.
So lately it seems as if you’re J.J. Abrams’ muse of sorts. Can you tell us a little bit more about your relationship with him?

Tonight we’ve got more back to back brothers – and while the Winchesters are working on renewing their relationship, things couldn’t be worse between the Salvatore brothers.
It all begins at 8:00 on The CW with the Vampire Diaries: You’re Undead to Me.
Stefan (Paul Wesley) is hopeful that his plan to get rid of Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is working. Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Jenna (Sara Canning) are concerned about Jeremy’s (Steven R. McQueen) relationship with Vicki (Kayla Ewell). Stefan decides to reveal parts of his past to Elena. At a fund-raising car wash, Bonnie (Katerina Graham) is surprised by abilities she didn’t know she possessed, and seeks advice from her grandmother (Jasmine Guy, “A Different World”). Finally, Elena hears a disturbing story about the Salvatore family from a stranger. (Photo Credit: Andrew Eccles / The CW © 2009 The CW Network, LLC. All Rights Reserved.)
Next, at 9:00, it’s Supernatural: Fallen Idol.
Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) decide to start hunting together again and their first case leads them to a small town whose inhabitants are being killed by famous dead icons like Abraham Lincoln and James Dean’s car. However, after two teenage girls come forward and claim their friend was kidnapped by Paris Hilton (in a cameo role as herself), the brothers aren’t sure what they are hunting anymore.
