Alone in The Dark Reinvents Itself on 360

One of the most storied survival horror franchises is back for PC and new generations consoles and fans of the genre may want to give it a try. Gameplay in Alone in the Dark is broken up into TV like episodes, running around 30 minutes like a TV show might.
A neat, realistic twist in this one is the ability to hold only as many items as you can carry in your pockets. That definitely makes you think twice about what you really need to carry to fight off monstrous hordes.

Popular survival-horror game Alone in the Dark will release the latest chapter in its saga June 24 on the Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 2 and PC. It will come out on the PS3 at a later date.
Atari’s going for the “open-world” feel that games in the post-Grand Theft Auto era are very much expected to have. AITD will have an episodic game structure that looks to play out like a TV show. Each time a player restarts a saved game they’ll be treated to a video recap of what they did previously.
