Galactica Concert Comes to LA

Battlestar Galactica and Caprica composer Bear McCreary will be celebrating the release of the new Caprica Soundtrack CD with two live concerts in the Los Angeles area.
First, on June 13, McCreary will conduct the music from Battlestar Galactica to kick-off the 2009 Grand Performances Series at California Plaza. It’s a free concert in downtown Los Angeles so all you have to do is show up and enjoy. Not going to be in the area? Then mark your calendar for June 16. Galactica’s Music Whiz Is In The Game

It’s Bear McCreary’s world, we’re just livin’ in it. Fresh off his award-winning stint as Battlestar Galactica’s composer, Capcom has announced McCreary will score the upcoming third-person action game Dark Void.
McCreary said he’s a huge gamer and a big fan of Capcom’s games. Who isn’t? From arcade coin eaters like the Street Fighter series to horror hits including Resident Evil, Capcom has been as good to gamers as BSG is to sci-fi fans.
