		<description><![CDATA[ According to the Associated Press, Marvel Comics stopped swimming in its Iron Man money long enough to announce the inevitable sequel, slated for April 2010. It also began setting the stage for the much discussed Avengers film which Marvel said will appear in 2011. Iron Man director Jon Favreau has expressed interest in directing that movie, but nothing has been determined yet.
Before then, Marvel plans a Thor movie in 2010 and a Captain America movie in 2011 as well. Iron Man, Cap and Thor are considered the &#8220;Big Three&#8221; where Marvel&#8217;s superteam is concerned. <p>Marvel Studios won&#8217;t release any self-produced films in 2009, but will continue its<strong> X-Men</strong> franchise with <strong>X-Men Origins:Wolverine.</strong></p>
