This Sunday, NBC will air part one of their four-hour mini-series Meteor. The plot is pretty standard as disaster flicks go; major meteor is hurtling toward Earth, two scientists try to warn the world, the world won’t listen. Meteor makes contact and everyone panics. Who lives, who dies, who cares?

It’s going to be a scifi summer on NBC with some new shows featuring familiar faces.
Sunday, June 21, Merlin comes to NBC from the BBC. This 13-part drama stars Buffy’s Anthony Stewart Head as King Uther, Colin Morgan as Merlin and Bradley James a Prince Arthur. Fantasy fans, SCI FI Channel has a two-night movie event coming up that was made just for you. Knights of Bloodsteel stars David James Elliott as human vigilante John Serragoth, Natassia Malthe as elf bounty hunter Perfida, and the always marvelous Christopher Lloyd (Taxi, Back to the Future) as the elf wizard Tesselink!

Star Trek: The Next Generation’s Wil Wheaton and Back to the Future’s Christopher Lloyd will guest on an upcoming episode of Numb3rs. In “Graphic” Don and Charlie are on the trail of a rare comic book that was stolen during a robbery during a comic book convention.
The episode will also be a reunion between Lloyd and his former Taxi co-star Judd Hirsch who plays Don and Charlie’s father in the series.  Look for it to air on November 23.
