Save Chuck – Eat at Subway!
April 27, 2009 by Cynthia
You may have thought it was Agent Walker’s job to save Chuck, but tonight that duty falls to YOU! It’s the Save Chuck Subway campaign and tonight is the night. People all over the US will be headed for their local Subway sandwich shop to order a foot-long in the name of Chuck Bartowski!
It all started because of a pretty blatant product placement scene in the series a few weeks ago and now fans have claimed the $5 Footlong as their SOS item of choice. It’s actually a really smart move, as it hits home for advertisers – the people …read more
Check Out Tricia Helfer on Chuck
March 30, 2009 by brian
NBC takes care of its actors and I salute their efforts to keep Tricia Helfer on my television as much as possible. Fresh off her run as Caprica Six (and numerous other Sixes) on Battlestar Galactica and a guest stint on Burn Notice, tonight she will guest star on Chuck.
Helfer will play a secret agent who comes between Chuck and his handler Sarah. Seems the government bigwigs don’t think Sarah can do a good job because she’s fallen in love with Chuck. Helfer plays Alex Forrest, an agent that doesn’t let her emotions get in the way and – oh, …read more
What Did You Think of NBC’s Trailers?
September 5, 2008 by brian
With the return of Football Night in America last night, the Peacock Network of course took the opportunity to promote upcoming fall shows. I thought the “Not Shaken, Just Nerd” promo for Chuck was pretty good. The My Own Worst Enemy preview really didn’t grab me. And Heroes – it’s Heroes, what am I not going to watch it? NBC is looking really hard for the next Heroes or Lost-type phenomenon with a plethora of sci-fi and fantasy shows, including the much discussed Knight Rider redo. Here’s a look at a two-minute Knight Rider preview:
WB SCI FI Series Head to Germany
February 25, 2008 by Cynthia
According to Variety, Warner Bros. has sold airing rights to to Germany’s ProSiebenSat.1 for three of their newest series, Moonlight, Chuck, and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
This is great news for all three of the shows but is especially significant in the case of Sarah Connor. Currently, the show only has nine episodes completed and is sitting on the renewal fence for next year. There’s be no official wrod in regard to the show’s future, but it’s hard to imagine Warner Bros selling the rights to a show with so few episodes if they didn’t expect to have more in …read more

The Paley Festival line-up was confirmed this morning and there are several scifi/fantasy shows on the bill including the talked about Buffy Reunion and salutes to Chuck and Pushing Daisies. This year the events will be held at the Cinerama Dome which is a great move. The festival, which started out as an industry salute to break-out shows, has become a major fan event. As such, tickets for certain nights sell out VERY quickly, so if you’re a fan, don’t wait to buy.

Zachary Levi and Joel David Moore Get Random
January 29, 2008 by Cynthia
After talking with me about their new movie Spiral (which you can read at Film Gecko), Zachary Levi of Chuck and Joel David Moore of Avatar played a round of “Dueling Random Questions”. Enjoy.
What was the last video game you played?
Zach: Rock Band for Xbox. That way I can get all my friends playing so I don’t feel like I’m alone. It’s like Karaoke on steroids.
Joel: The last video game I played was Assassin’s Creed. I got about an hour into it and went eh, this isn’t my favorite game, so I gave up on it. I’m …read more
Supernatural Revelations: An Exclusive Interview with Peter Johnson
December 7, 2007 by Cynthia
By Cynthia Boris
In the last frame of the final issue of Supernatural Origins, John Winchester realizes that he is surrounded by darkness and to survive he must find the light. That “light” is the face of 4-year-old Dean waiting for him in the front window. It’s baby Sam, who gurgles and laughs for the price of a tickle. It’s John’s boys, their innocence, which will see him through. And thus the series ends. . . except that it’s really more of a beginning.
This week, I chatted with Supernatural Co-Executive Producer and author of the Supernatural comics, Peter Johnson. We …read more
Vote Now for Chuck & Moonlight
Voting for the 34th Annual People’s Choice Awards is just about over, but there are two special categories that will stay open until show time. It’s Favorite New TV Comedy and Favorite New TV Drama and each category contains one of my favorite shows! How perfect is that.
Chuck and Moonlight have been nominated in the comedy and drama categories respectively, and I want you to go there right now and cast your vote! Both of these shows have totally captivated me this season and I can’t wait to see where they take me.
Chuck is a quirky, comedy …read more
