HBO Adapting Game of Thrones

The Hollywood Reporter tells us HBO could be getting into the fantasy game, as it has ordered a pilot for Game of Thrones.  The show is based on George R.R. Martin’s “A Song of Fire and Ice” series of novels.
The success of vampire drama True Blood is cited as a reason that Thrones might jump to the front of a crowded group of pilot orders.
