Hasbro Releases Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back Anniversary Line

When it comes to boy toys, Hasbro still has a lock with their line of Star Wars related action figures and playsets. The success of Star Wars: The Clone Wars on TV has brought a whole new generation of kids into the franchise, so you’ll continue to see merchandising for that series.

It’s Not So Scary Without the Shaky Cam
This, believe it or not, is the Cloverfield monster. In this plastic form, it’s hard to fathom this is the thing that caused New York so much trouble. I guess it just goes to show that scariness is all in the presentation.
The part that did scare me? Hasbro wants $100 for this thing. They’re taking pre-orders now. It does come with some other accessories including a Statue of Liberty head and 10 parasites. Apparently the toy company realizes it’s not that scary either. They say the toy is acceptable for children 4 and up.
