There is no way they can remake Flash Gordon or Highlander without Freddie Mercury here. Sorry, Hollywood. You&#8217;ll thank me later. I mean, who were you going to put on these soundtracks? Nickelback? Ludacris?
Yeah, exactly. I can still hear Queen in my head: &#8220;Flash! Ahhhh!&#8221; Just another reason to fear the remakes. They&#8217;re remaking freakin&#8217; Barbarella. When, oh when will this madness end, I ask?

And don&#8217;t think they didn&#8217;t try, I mean sequels to the 1986 classic included Mario Van Peebles and the WWE&#8217;s Edge. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Summit Entertainment wants to revamp the genre hit that launched Christopher Lambert to well -&#160; never mind. It was a good movie though.
Iron Man co-writers Art Marcum and Matt Holloway will write the script and Peter Davis, one of the original film&#8217;s producers, will take that role on again.
